Apprentice to the archetypes, symbols, elements and spirit animals that show up. Dance with the blurring edge between fact and fiction. Decipher your dreamscapes and the hidden messages they hold. Get out of your head and into your heART. Pray, Play and Paint outside the lines. Bring it all the way down to earth as you map the mystery and the magic of your visions with texture, color, collage and a circle to witness you.
Inspired by the Latin American literary tradition of Realismo Magico, this course is an invitation to consider, digest and express our stories in a way that makes space for the unexpected and the magical. We develop a language that honors the mysterious, mystical and mythic aspects of our lives and cultivate our ability to connect with our creative intuitive channel. By embracing the metaphors behind the wild and unruly aspects of our stories, we are able to celebrate that which is colorful and potent about our lineages, legacies, pasts and paths with fresh energy. We cultivate a new lens that elicits bravery, vitality, creative play, and poeticism, and by doing this, we tap into our potential to heal and become even more free.
We come together in this course to practice, to explore, to play and to pray. We map the way in and out of our wild unconscious. Harvesting information from the unseen dreamscapes within and beyond us in the form of shape, color, symbol, archetype, elements poetry, and raw life force . Together, we take a break from the waking world and engage with sacred ritual art to listen deeply to the guidance and wisdom our visions carry.

Imaginal Cells

Co guided by Sarita Rivard Guerrero

There are times in our lives where we are initiated by such loss and grief that a way through is unimaginable. Where, like the chrysalis, we liquify, losing all form, relying only on the imprint in our cells for regeneration, resilience and rebirth to guide us.
In these times, creative practice can be a channel to name what has happened, the truth of its impact, and imagine a way through. By expressing ourselves through the ritual of sacred storytelling we get glimpses of the one who is to rise from the ashes, the one who is guiding us towards new life, the one that knows the cycles of descent and return.
In this course, we work with mythopoetic writing prompts, movement, poetry, visual art, ritual and council to be with the underworld initiation we are traversing. We come together to honor our grief, and to map the way in and out of our creative, intuitive consciousness. Together, we name the impossible, bring form to our underworld, and become revealed in the ache of our prayers. This course is for the wounded ones, calling their souls back home,

Caminante
Cultivating responsible, respectful, generative and connective travel experiences through mentorship, study, and rites of passage practices.
This course is offered as a 1:1 travel/pilgrimage preparatory course (8 weeks) with the option to add internship placement support and or/mentorship package for creative coaching during travel experience.
Across traditions and time, people have sought answers, inspiration, and understanding through questing for self-knowledge, visions of the future, and greater understanding of the world around them. Our modern cultures tend to forget the importance of this hero's journey. So often, we are guided down a well worn path, towards predetermined goals, destinations and outcomes that have very little to do with our soul’s longing. But an essential part of our development is journeying beyond our comfort zones into the wide and wild unknown to ask: What mysteries might I uncover about this planet, and my place in it? What are my unique gifts, and how do those gifts meet the wounds, needs and gaps of the world?
This course will guide you in preparing for your Heroes quest. Together we will consider what it means to tread lightly and be a good guest to the places you visit. We will explore tools and practices for staying awake, staying safe, and deepening into respectful practices for cultural immersion. We will develop rituals for your Rite of Passage, go over practical preparation for travel, and tips and tricks for the open road. We will also delve into the rich questions of what it means to travel in this modern world, sitting with questions of reciprocity and exchange, traveler versus tourist, creator versus consumer, and solidarity versus charity. And of course, lay a generous foundation of creative tools for digestion.

Tending Your Taproot offers a sacred container to be together in solidarity and Sisterhood. We cultivate a field of radical nourishment, self care, truth telling, soul tending, movement, crafts, creativity, cackling, & remembering. Gathering in this way becomes a remedy for stress, fatigue and burnout, and a rebellion and revolution for the feminine to reclaim her power. We practice the radical act of going in, softening in order to be nourished and connecting to our taproot–an indestructible essence that survives fire & flood, and slowly this becomes a way of life.
In these offerings we come together to map the portals into deep nourishment, guidance and connection. We are supported to snap out of the mundane trance, and to open to the magic & mystery of our mythos and the power of our connection to PachaMama. We soften our logical minds, put aside our to-do lists and court our creativity, honoring our art’s power to heal, guide, and transform. We welcome the wild and mysterious messages of our lifeforce and creative vitality, gathering to taste the potency of our inner worlds, and to restore the pathways to practicing restorative, regenerative rest in our everyday lives.
This is not a luxury. This is a lifeblood relationship with our power and our liberation. This is a radical act of rebellion–to be connected, nourished, comforted, embodied and connected to creativity; to weave community and ritual and wakefulness around life's passages, the turning of the wheel, the gifts and challenges of each season.
Our three-hour sessions offer a pressure point reminder of connection and strength. Our daylongs offer a deeper dive, letting our nervous systems ease into spaciousness and community with some abundance. In our weeklong retreats, we do a full rewiring.

Wisdom Keepers
Soulful anthro poetic interviews with our elders. Listen deeply and alchemize the blessings and burdens of lineage and legacy through meaningful dialogue, ritual and art.
Offered as a 6 week in person series-closed group container
In an era lacking meaningful intergenerational transmission many of us hunger for stories and spiritual sustenance from our elders. For those who are blessed to have grandmothers, grandfathers, and community leaders, there is a profound opportunity to truly drop in to ask, and to deeply listen.
Creating intentional space for these conversions is a way of honoring our elders and their important place i our communities, We provide a reflective space for them to share their hard earned wisdom. What have their many years on this planet taught them? How might they bless and guide us if given the opportunity?Perhaps they are waiting to be asked and truly heard. By setting a container for connection we open to the possibility of unearthing relevant ancestry information, family folklore, and tradition and a sense of belonging and interconnectedness that is ours to be cherished.
This course will guide you in designing a powerful container that is culturally sensitive to the context you are interviewing in, and that feels accessible and natural for you. We explore barriers considering culture, language, and varying layers of digestion and maturation of stories and the way they lice in individuals and family systems. We till the soil of your own curiosity and longing through self reflective exercises and from that place brainstorm evocative and meaningful questions. We court interview structure, style and skillfulness that is sensitive to cues, trauma informed, intuitive, brave and soulful. We share our struggles and our learnings through the process in a supportive group context. And finally we integrate the interviews within our group by working with the creative outlet of your choice to encapsulate the medicine we have harvested. This may include but is not limited to poetry, prose, a scrapbook, collage, painting, an altar/art installation, or song.
